What is a BBS?

A Bulletin Board System lets users connect, leave messages, play games, and share files — all over text-based terminal.

Do I need an account?

Some areas are public, but many features (mail, doors) require a handle. You'll be prompted to create one at first login.

What encoding?

Sklaffkom defaults to SF7 (Swedish 7-bit), but UTF-8 is accepted and translated. ANSI codes supported.
